Live
Is Live real money?
Live trades your own Strike balance, in dollars. This app runs on Strike testnet, so those dollars have no real-world value, and the app labels them "Testnet · no real funds". On a deployment where the operator turns on mainnet, Live uses real funds. What Live is has the details.
What is the amount on a Live box?
It's the estimated gain if the box's target fills, after fees, at the size you picked. It isn't guaranteed: fills, fees and slippage decide, and your stop limits the loss. How the estimate works.
Why does a box show a negative amount?
The move to its target is smaller than the fees on the way in and out. Boxes further from the price have more room. See Fees.
Which wallets work?
VESPR, Eternl or Lace on Cardano, MetaMask or Rabby on Ethereum, and Phantom on Solana. On a phone, open the app in your wallet's own browser and follow Connect your wallet.
Can strikeabox take my funds?
No. Nothing moves without your wallet's signature, and withdrawals only go to the wallet you connected (Security and your funds).
What are the fees?
A live box pays Strike's trading fee and a 0.05% strikeabox fee on the way in and on the way out, as Fees shows. Demo has no fees.
Why is Live closed on a market?
Strike's order book there is too thin to get out of a position safely, or its prices aren't current. The app shows the reason, and Demo still works.
Demo
Is Demo free?
Yes. Demo uses no money and needs no wallet. You start with a demo balance of 1,000.
Can I cash out my demo balance?
No. The demo balance is a number for playing. It can't be bought, sold or withdrawn.
Why did my box say Void?
The price feed had a gap, or no decision came by the deadline shortly after the window ended, so you got your stake back. The receipt names the reason (Price feed gap or No decision by the deadline), and Won, lost or void explains it.
Why did my tap say Price moved?
The multiplier dropped too far between the quote and your tap reaching the server. Check the new number and tap again if you still want the box.
Are the multipliers fair?
Every multiplier keeps a 10% house edge, so expect your demo balance to shrink over time. The measured returns are in The house edge.
Why are leaderboards and battles in Demo?
They compare players on equal terms, with no money involved. Live boxes stay private to your account.
Account
Do I need to download anything?
No. It's a web app, and you can add it to your home screen.
Who can see my name?
Players in your rooms and battles can, and you can hide it per room. Leaderboards and replays show it only when Show my name is on, which is off by default.
I cleared my browser. What did I lose?
Guest accounts live in one browser and can't be recovered. Open the app again to start a new one, with a fresh demo balance of 1,000. Your Strike account and its funds are still on Strike: connect the same wallet to see them again.
How do I set a limit?
For Demo, open Settings › Play and pick a daily limit. The server enforces it on every device. Live has fixed caps for everyone: up to $5,000 of boxes per UTC day, and 3 open boxes. Responsible play has more.
