Testnet and mainnet
Strike runs two networks: testnet and mainnet. The app always says which one Live trades on.

Reading Strike's public prices moves no money. So Demo can follow mainnet's prices while every Live order stays on testnet.
The two networks are separate markets, and their prices can differ. When you switch to Live, the board moves to the market your orders go to. When you switch to Demo, it moves back.

Mainnet
On mainnet, Live trades real funds. It runs only where the operator turns it on on purpose, and it is off on this app. Where it's on, your balance says "Mainnet" in amber on a phone, and "real funds" in amber on a tablet or computer.
Each network has its own fixed Strike address, and the app never mixes them: a testnet account, order or deposit never touches mainnet.
Markets
Live offers BTC-USD, ETH-USD, SOL-USD and ADA-USD, the same markets as Demo. On testnet, ADA-USD is closed for Live: Strike's smallest allowed ADA-USD order price there is above the market price, so no order can be placed. The app shows that reason.
Testnet is a test market
Thin order books, wide spreads and pauses are normal on testnet. That's why Live often pauses a market there. See When Live is closed.
When Live is switched off
New connections, new boxes, deposits and withdrawals stop, and the app says why. Open boxes still close, and you can still see your balance and disconnect. Demo keeps working.
