Connect your wallet
One signed message links your wallet to your Strike account. No funds move.
Pick your wallet
Open VESPR's in-app browser and go to app.strikeabox.com. For this app, switch VESPR to Preprod. If it's on Mainnet, the app stops you before you sign anything.
Use MetaMask in your browser, or the browser tab in the MetaMask app. Any network works for connecting. Deposits switch it to Sepolia.
Use Phantom's in-app browser. Strike may not take Solana deposits on testnet; the app shows Strike's answer.
Other wallets work too: Eternl and Lace on Cardano, Rabby on Ethereum. No Strike account yet? Strike makes one for your wallet when you connect.

The exact message you sign
This is the exact text Strike asks you to sign. The values in angle brackets are filled in for you:
Connect to Strike via builder "strikeabox".
This authorizes the builder to collect up to 1% fee on your trades.
Referral attribution: none.
By signing, you are entrusting your API wallet private key to this builder. You trust the builder to store and use this key responsibly.
Wallet: <address>
Chain: <chain>
API Key: <public key>
Nonce: <nonce>
Timestamp: <time>
Complete verify-signature within 5 minutes; after that the challenge expires.Line by line:
- Builder "strikeabox". strikeabox is registered with Strike as a builder: an app that places orders for its users.
- Up to 1% fee. The most strikeabox may ever charge per order. Strike enforces it. On this app strikeabox charges 0.05% per order, and every live plan shows the fee in dollars. See Fees.
- Referral attribution: none. Connecting doesn't sign you up under anyone's referral.
- Entrusting your API wallet private key. strikeabox holds the key made for you. See what the key can do.
- Wallet, Chain, API Key. Your address, the chain you picked, and the key the app shows.
- Nonce, Timestamp. They make the signature single-use and time-limited.
If anything differs from what the app shows, don't sign.
What the key can do
It can place and cancel orders and request deposits and withdrawals. Deposits and withdrawals need your wallet's signature, and withdrawals only go to your wallet. The orders it places change your Strike balance by their profit or loss.
The key lives on our server so your boxes can close on time, even with the app closed. It never reaches your browser.
Disconnect
Close your open live boxes first. Disconnect deletes our copy of the key at once. You can also revoke it in the Strike testnet app.
- Open the menu and tap Accounts, then Account › on the Live card.
- Tap Disconnect, then confirm.
A box still open stays on Strike with its target and stop, but nothing closes it at the window end. Connect the same wallet again and the app picks it up.
